popup announcement for Confluence is an application that displays a popup announcement in the upper right corner of the screen when a user opens Confluence.
Pop-ups can include the title, content, and URL.
Pop-ups can be created by the administrator, and can be shown or hidden by both the administrator and the user.
Usage
for Administrator
Administrators (Space administrators of Confluence) can create, edit, and delete popups.
Create popup
Create a new popup.
Open the Confluence Admin Menu and open the Registration list which is available at Announcement that appears at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
Select “Create New”
The html tag is not allowed, the tags will be displayed as text as is.
Title, content, and URL are all required fields.
After entering the information, select "Save" to open the confirmation dialog box and select "OK" to create the announcement.
Edit popup
You can edit created popups.
Open the Confluence Admin Menu and open the Registration list which is available at Announcement that appears at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
Select “Edit” which you want to update contents of popup.
You can edit the title, content, and URL.
“Author” is the user who created the popup, and Modified by” is the user who made the change.
Select "Save" to apply the changes.
Switching the display of popups
You can show or hide each popup.
Open the Confluence Admin Menu and open the Registration list which is available at Announcement that appears at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
By default, the popup you have created is turned “ON”.
Select the checkbox of the item you want to show or hide.
